Biography: Ms Suzette Lamshed

Suzette Lamshed is an international business woman with over 20 years’ experience living and working in the Middle East and North Africa.  Most recently Suzette was based in Dubai engaging with global markets within the services sector, a sector she has excelled in throughout her professional life from management roles in multinational corporations to operating her own international business.   

Suzette began her career in the Adelaide travel industry in South Australia and was promoted interstate to the Northern Territory to manage Malaysia Airlines and later Ansett Australia/Air New Zealand.  She has extensive experience working in both private and public sector entities and has worked in several Australian state and federal government agencies.   Suzette holds a MBA from Deakin University and specializes in international business, marketing and professional partnerships.  

Suzette is dedicated to developing two way trade and investment opportunities for the benefit of Australia and bilateral partners.  After serving as General Manager South Australia/Northern Territory for the Australia Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Suzette continues to deliver outcomes for South Australian industry through her private consultancy, Australia Arab Business Connect.

Suzette has helped to enable international business outcomes within a myriad of industry sectors in countries not limited to the United Arab Emirates, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Turkey, Iran, Libya, Egypt, Oman, Yemen, Afghanistan and Iraq, in addition to select Asian and European countries plus USA.  A highlight for Suzette is recently working in Kurdish Iraq, Malaysia and Azerbaijan with an oil and gas client.  Suzette originates from a 6th generation South Australian farming family who still owns and operates properties across South Australia.
